Dear Jurgen, it is very sad to be having to write this message to you. I still can't believe it 20+ days later. You will be sorely missed my good friend. We have plenty of fun and happy memories of our times together at the University of Illinois, the evenings at Murphy's and our amazing travels around the USA for three months. What special times they were. I also fondly remember visiting your home in Germany many years ago and you proudly showing me your 'man cave' and bar downstairs :).
It had also been great to connect more via WhatsApp the last few years and knowing that you had gone back to University. That was a bold decision and I hope you were having fun.
I wish you peace Jurgen, peace in the knowledge that you lived a good life, did some amazing things, and made some special friends who miss you. Rest well my good friend.
